This personalized session combines various techniques with a professional physical therapy assessment. Techniques include Craniosacral therapy, Rosen Method, manual physical therapy, visceral mobility, abdominal massage, scar tissue mobilization, mobility training, and mindfulness.
Manual physical therapy involves the manipulation of superficial or deeper tissues to release muscles, fascia, and other connective tissues. Fascia is the connective tissue that surrounds and envelops each muscle fiber, individual muscles, and groups of muscles. Other connective tissues that can be addressed include muscle tendons, ligaments, and scar tissue from prior injuries and surgeries. Craniosacral Therapy uses gentle touch to work with the connective tissue membranes and fluids that surround, protect, and nourish the brain and spinal cord.
Integrative PT can be used for relaxation or to relieve pain and soreness associated with specific diagnoses and conditions such as Fibromyalgia, Headaches, Back/Neck/Nerve pain, Scar tissue, Soft tissue strains and injuries, Sports injuries, and Temporomandibular (TMJ) disorders. We recommend a 90 minute appointment for your first visit with Ann.
Craniosacral Therapy uses gentle touch to work with the connective tissue membranes and fluids that surround, protect, and nourish the brain and spinal cord. It aims to restore the natural rhythm and balance of the craniosacral system through light touch.
Rosen Method
Rosen Method bodywork uses receptive touch and reflective listening to create a supportive environment where patients can experience enhanced physical, mental, and emotional self-awareness. This work often leads to a lessening of physical tension and improved relaxation.
While aspects of the Rosen Method can be blended into an Integrative PT session, it is best utilized as a package starting with three initial sessions to fully benefit from its approach. For this reason, the Rosen Method is offered as a package of three sessions.

“Rosen relieves my tight shoulders more than anything else, even massage, yoga, and swimming. It also gives me deep insights into what is actually going on for me, knowing what my body is saying is profound. Ann is a deeply insightful, very experienced practitioner who I trust completely.”
“Ann Galkowski is amazing. I had an uncommon neurological / chronic pain syndrome following a fracture / surgery and CranioSacral therapy with Ann was an instrumental part of my recovery. I doubt that I would have returned to being right handed if not for her therapeutic assistance.”
“I recently began care with Ann Galkowski following major surgery on my cervical spine and lower back. I feel so fortunate to have found Ann to provide care for me in order to decrease the pain. Her combination of traditional PT with holistic modalities brought incredible relief after just a few sessions. I have received PT in my adult life for a very, very long time and she is the first PT who could bring relief in the first session! She has a natural gift for healing and is very wise, knowledgeable, kind, gentle and accommodating. Ann was attentive to my comfort level and safety , seeing me in my home and offering suggestions on proper positioning and incorporating various movements. I feel very well cared for. In subsequent sessions she was able to identify areas of deep tissue tension and bring relief. In only the third session I was able to fall asleep and wake up several hours later pain free!! She truly is an angel and I highly recommend her if you are looking for a healer of your body, mind and spirit!! “
